Your doctor may need to monitor you when you start or stop taking Esomeprazole. • Cilostazol (used to treat intermittent claudication – a condition where poor blood supply to the leg muscles causes pain and difficulty in walking). • Cisapride (used for indigestion and heartburn). • Rifampicin (used to treat tuberculosis). • Tacrolimus (in cases of organ transplantation). • St. John’s wort (Hypericum perforatum) (used to treat depression). risk of a lowered threshold for seizures. Color changes may not be noticed until months or years have passed. Once you stop using this medication, the color change of your eye is expected to be permanent, unlike the eyelashes and periorbital area (area around the eyes) that are expected to gain their original color. </li>\n<li>Medication can be continued even if you experience eye color changes, however, make sure to get your eyes examined by your doctor.</li>\n<li>Make sure to tell your doctor about other eye disorders that you have such as eye inflammation or eye edema.</li>\n<li>Make sure to remove contact lenses before the administration of the eye drop. You can wear your contact lenses again after at least 15 minutes of applying your eye drop. </li>\n<li>Avoid contact of the eye drop tip with your eye to prevent bacterial contamination. </li>\n<li>Seek your physician advice if you develop an eye infection, or eyelid reactions or if you have a planned surgery.</li>\n<li>If you are using more than one eye drop solution, make sure to administer each at least five minutes apart.</li>\n<li>Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before starting this medicine if you wear contact lenses. </li>\n<li>This product contains a preservative known as benzalkonium chloride which can affect the color your soft contact lenses and may also cause eye irritation especially if you have cornea problems or eye dryness,</li>\n<li>therefore make sure that you remove your soft contact lens before you apply the eye drop and wait at least 15 minutes before you put your contact lens back. </li>\n<li>Talk to your doctor if you feel abnormal eye sensation (pain or stinging) in your eye after applying the eye drop. </li>\n<li>This medicine may worsen your eye inflammation if you already have it. Talk to your doctor before starting this medicine if you have eye inflammation. </li>\n<li>This medicine may cause macular edema (retina at the back of the eye becomes swollen) especially if you do not have a lens (surgically removed) or if you have had an artificial lens implanted in your eye.</li>\n<li>Talk to your doctor before starting this medicine if you have either of these eye lens problems.</li>\n<li>Talk to your doctor if you develop macular edema signs like blurry or wavy vision. </li>\n</ul>\n<div>Possible Side Effects:</div>\n<ul>\n<li>Most common side effect is redness and dilation of eye vessels.</li>\n<li>Common side effects include growth of eyelashes and eye itching.</li>\n<li>Other side effects include eye irritation, darkening in eyelid or eye color, eyelash darkening, eye discharge and tearing, light sensitivity, allergic conjunctivitis (eye allergy), eye inflammation, eye swelling, eye bleeding, abnormal hair growth, blurred vision, asthenopia (eye strain), redness around the eye, eye dryness, pigmentation of the skin around your eye, eyelids inflammation, cataract, superficial punctate keratitis (eye disorder caused by death of small groups of cells on the surface of the cornea), eye pain, burning and stinging, foreign body sensation, infections (like cold and upper respiratory tract infections), headaches and abnormal liver function tests.</li>\n</ul>\n<div>Other medicines and Bimatoprost:</div>\n<ul>\n<li>Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking, have recently taken or might take any other medications including eye drops.</li>\n<li>If you are using more than one eye drop solution, make sure to administer each at least five minutes apart to avoid precipitation of the eye drop. </li>\n</ul>\n<div>How to apply Bimatoprost:</div>\n<div></div>\n<div>Adults </div>\n<ul>\n<li>Recommended dose is one drop in the affected eye once daily at night. Do not use more than once daily because the effectiveness of the treatment may be decreased.  </li>\n</ul>\n<div>Children (under 16 years of age)</div>\n<ul>\n<li>Use of this medicine is not recommended in children under 16 years of age due to the risk of increased pigmentation due to long term use. </li>\n</ul>\n<div>How To Use:</div>\n<ul>\n<li>Wash your hands. Uncap the bottle.</li>\n<li>Tilt your head slightly backward and pull down your lower eyelid making a pocket.</li>\n<li>Keep the bottle above your eye with the tip facing down.</li>\n<li>Look upward and away from the bottle then press on the container to release a drop.</li>\n<li>Let go of the lower eyelid and close your eyes for 30 seconds. You may become more susceptible to eye infections with the use of this product.</li>\n<li>If you use it for a long period of time you may: </li>\n<li>Have increased pressure in your eye(s). You should have your eye pressure checked regularly while using it. This is especially important in children, as the risk of corticosteroid-induced increased pressure in the eye may be greater in children and may occur earlier than in adults. The risk of corticosteroid-induced increase intraocular pressure and/or cataract formation is increased in predisposed patients (e.g. diabetes).</li>\n<li>Develop cataract</li>\n<li>Become more susceptible to eye infections</li>\n<li>Talk to your doctor if you experience swelling and weight gain around the trunk and in the face as these are usually the first manifestations of a syndrome called Cushing's syndrome. Suppression of the adrenal gland function may develop after stopping a long-term or intensive treatment with this drug. These risks are especially important in children and patients treated with a drug called ritonavir or cobicistat.</li>\n<li>Contact your doctor if you experience blurred vision or other visual disturbances.</li>\n<li>Talk to your doctor before using this drug if you have diabetes or have a family history of diabetes.</li>\n</ul>\nPossible Side Effects:\n<ul style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\n<li>Eye irritation</li>\n<li>Increased tear production</li>\n</ul>\nOther medicines and Neomycin, Polymyxin B, Dexamethasone:\n<ul style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\n<li>Tell your doctor or pharmacist about all medicines you take, including prescription and over-the-counter medicines, vitamins and herbal supplements.</li>\n<li>Tell your doctor if you are taking any of the following medicines:</li>\n<li>Topical NSAIDs. Simultaneous use of topical steroids and topical NSAIDs may increase healing problems in your eye.</li>\n<li>If you are using ritonavir or cobicistat, as this may increase the amount of dexamethasone in the blood.</li>\n<li>If you are diabetic and you are taking, having recently taken or might take medicines for treatment of diabetes such as insulin, metformin or sulfonylureas such as chlorpropamide, as this combination may decrease the blood glucose lowering effect of these medicines.</li>\n</ul>\nHow to take Neomycin, Polymyxin B, Dexamethasone:\n<ul style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\n<li>The usual dose is 1 or 2 drops into the space between your eyelid and eye 6 times daily, or more frequently if required.</li>\n<li>Wash your hands before you start.</li>\n<li>Shake the bottle well.</li>\n<li>Twist off the bottle cap.</li>\n<li>Hold the bottle pointing down, between your thumb and fingers.</li>\n<li>Tilt your head back.</li>\n<li>Pull down your lower eyelid with a finger, until there is a ‘pocket’ between the eyelid and your eye. The drop will go in here.</li>\n<li>Bring the bottle tip close to the eye. Do this in front of a mirror if it helps.</li>\n<li>Do not touch your eye or eyelid, surrounding areas or other surfaces with the dropper. It could infect the drops.</li>\n<li>Gently press on the base of the bottle to release one drop at a time.</li>\n<li>Keep the eyelid closed, while applying gently pressure to the corner of your eye by the nose. This helps to reduce the amount of medicine getting into the rest of the body.</li>\n<li>If you are using other eye drops, wait at least 5 minutes after putting in the drops before using the other eye drops.
